Get involved

Bring a skill. Give time. Send what is needed.

Four ways in that are not a donation — and one thing we would rather you asked about before you spend money on it.

Placements run from two weeks to six months across teaching, construction, health outreach and conservation. Applications are assessed, not accepted automatically — the programmes need specific skills at specific times.

Fundraise

Run a marathon, climb Kilimanjaro, mark a birthday. You get your own page, your own target, and your own updates from the programme you chose.

Partner as a company

A named programme, quarterly reporting with sourced figures, and a site visit for staff. Matched giving and payroll giving both supported.

Give in kind

Laptops, textbooks, medical supplies, solar components. Ask before shipping — freight and duty can cost more than buying locally, and sometimes cash is genuinely better.

Apply for a placement

We reply to every application within ten working days, including the ones we cannot place. If your skills fit a programme that is not recruiting now, we will tell you when it is.

Anyone working with children is background-checked before placement. That check is a condition, not a formality.

We use these details to assess your application and reply to it, and nothing else. See our privacy page.

Climb it, run it, mark it.

What the programmes need right now

  • Laptops in working order, for the Moshi Kids Centre study room
  • Primary readers in Swahili and English
  • Beekeeping suits, adult sizes
  • Solar charge controllers and deep-cycle batteries
  • Basic first-aid consumables for outreach days

Ask before shipping. Freight and import duty into Tanzania often cost more than buying the same item in Arusha — in which case a cash gift does more.
