Kilimanjaro — a cleanup team loading the season's waste.
Travel with purpose
One business, two purposes.
ZARA Charity is one of three sister businesses. The other two send travellers up Kilimanjaro and across the Serengeti. That is not a coincidence — it is the funding model.
Step 1: Give at the point of booking
Every safari, climb and lodge booking offers an optional gift, pre-filled and attached to a named programme. It is one tap, at the moment a traveller feels most generous.
Step 2: Visit the project you funded
Travellers can add a project visit to their itinerary — a bookable stop, not a vague invitation. Highview and Ngorongoro sit within reach of several.
Step 3: Climb for a cause
Kilimanjaro climbers get their own fundraising page, created automatically when they book. Friends and family sponsor the climb; the money lands here.
Step 4: Stay a supporter afterwards
One record across all three businesses. A traveller who gave $50 at checkout is recognised, thanked, and told what happened next.
For companies
CSR that survives a due-diligence question.
Corporate partners get a named programme, a reporting pack with real figures, and the option to bring a team out to see it. Matched giving and payroll giving are both supported.
Talk to us about a partnershipHow the three businesses relateThe charity keeps its own board and its own accounts. The travel businesses carry a share of its running costs, which is why more of a donation reaches the programme — and they are named here so the relationship is on the page rather than inferred.
