The Asali Project

Beekeeping that pays households and protects the forest around them.

The problem

Families living beside forest need income from it. Charcoal burning pays quickly and destroys the thing it depends on.

What we do about it

Households receive hives, suits and training, sell honey through a shared brand, and gain a direct financial reason to keep the forest standing.
