Ocean Cleanup Project

Coastal plastic collection with fishing communities.

The problem

Plastic on the shoreline damages the fishery that coastal families live on, and there is no municipal collection to remove it.

What we do about it

Fishing communities run scheduled collections, paid per kilogram, with the material sorted and sold on to recyclers so the scheme part-funds itself.

Reach

Plastic removed from the coast
