Tree Planting Project

Indigenous trees planted, mapped and checked at twelve months.

The problem

Planting is easy and survival is hard. Most campaigns count seedlings in the ground and never return to count what lived.

What we do about it

Indigenous species are raised in community nurseries, planted with the household that will water them, GPS-logged, and re-counted at twelve months. Survival rate is published, not just the planting number.
